Redistricting in the United States: Problems and Reform on Zoom

Census - Gerrymandering - Congressional District - Redistricting - Although we hear these words a lot these day, many of us aren't clear about what they mean and how they impact us.  We've teamed up with Dr. David Canon,  Professor of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, who will discuss the decennial process of redistricting that is just getting under way. He will talk about the history of redistricting, outline the relevant court cases, point out the problems with redistricting, and suggest some possible reforms. A question and answer period will follow his presentation.

THIS IS A ZOOM PROGRAM. TO REGISTER, PLEASE EMAIL US AT csplib@rgpl.org.
