Memory Screenings

Free Memory Screenings

Tuesday, July 11th, 2023 — 9am to 12pm (Appointments needed)

The Dane County Aging and Disability Resource Center will be at the library on July 11th to provide free and confidential memory screenings to the Cross Plains community. A memory screen is an evaluation tool designed to help check someone's memory and cognitive skills. These can help tell you if a more in-depth diagnostic test for memory problems is needed or simply provide a baseline for future screenings. Specialists from the ADRC will be completing these 20-minute screenings by appointment on the 11th and will also have information on hand about memory clinics, brain health, and other local resources. To set up an appointment, please call the library at 608-798-3881 or ask in-person at the service desk. If you have questions about the screenings, please call the the ADRC at 608-240-7400.
