Ever wonder what a prescribed burn is and what it does for the land? Join us for an informative presentation from Robert Baller, a prescribed fire educator for the Wisconsin Prescribed Fire Counsel and a member of the Wisconsin Prairie Enthusiasts. This program will provide a short introduction to prescribed fires in Southern Wisconsin, including what the environmental benefits of prescribed burns are, how these fires work, and how to contact the right organizations to safely conduct a prescribed burn. There will be plenty of time for questions after the presentation.
