Become a Driftless Explorer! Pick up your passport starting on August 15th and start exploring nature!
Kids up to age 14 and their adult "guides" are invited to participate in our Driftless Passport program. Each passport has 12 parks and natural areas on it, along with activities to record at each site, such as taking a walk, looking for butterflies or fish, or drawing a picture. Passports can be returned before October 15 for a small prize—visit 4 sites and receive a Kwik Trip drink coupon, or visit 9 and receive a kid's Culver's meal coupon.
Get directions and more information about each site by visiting this online map. Children will still need to return a paper passport to the library to receive their prizes.
This program is brought to you by the Gateway to the Driftless in partnership with the Rosemary Garfoot Public Library, the Black Earth Public Library, and the Mazomanie Free Library.
