Carpe Librum Postponed Until March 3.

Join the Carpe Librum Book Discussion Group on Thursday, March 3, at 5:30 p.m., on Zoom, to discuss Zakiya Dalila Harris' electrifying and witty novel, The Other Black Girl.

Nella Rogers, a twenty-six-year-old editorial assistant, is the only Black girl at Wagner Books.  Nella is thrilled when Harlem born and raised, Hazel-May McCall joins the company.  Shortly after Hazel and Nella start bonding, a string of events upends Nella's work life, making her "public enemy number one" to Hazel's status as office darling.  Then warning notes begin to appear on Nella's desk sending her into a spiral of obession that propels her down the path of uncovering sinister forces at play.

Carpe Librum is open to all bibliophiles who enjoy discussing shared literature.   Want to receive the link?  Contact Pamela Bosben at pbosben [at] rgpl.org.
