Oil Paintings by Pamela Grabber
Our current show features a collection of lush oil paintings by talented area artist, Pamela Grabber. A printmaker by education, Pamela came to painting as a means to an end in charting a course for the color separation process of lithography. She often employs the grisaille technique to explore the relationships of forms, surfaces, and colors in her work. This technique of layering translucent oil colors over a monotone underpainting is detailed in her exhibit.
In addition to her paintings, Pamela’s notecards will be on display and for sale – a lovely holiday gift. The “Bountiful Harvest” exhibit runs through January 17th. Click here for more information about Pamela.
